PTA Programs 

The Shady Grove ES PTA has yet another full slate of wonderful programs for the 2011-2012 school year.  Our teachers have come up with some great suggestions and we can’t wait to make them happen. We're always looking for help to make each program run smoothly so please consider volunteering on our committee.

 

We are still collecting tabs to support the Richmond Ronald McDonald House.  Last year we were able to collect over 170 lbs. of tabs and we would love to exceed that number this year.  The collection container will be at the Welcome Center.

  Cardinal Fun Run - Thursday, October 20,  5:00 PM Registration

Join your friends on our one mile fun run course. 
Participants may walk or run. 
There will be ribbons for all participants and snacks at the finish line.
Registration and warm ups will start at 5:00 pm.

     2011-2012 PTA Reflections Program - Entries Due Friday, October 21
Reflections Theme for 2011-2012 is "Diversity Means..."

The Reflections Program encourages students across the nation and in American schools overseas to explore their artistic talents. The program offers students the opportunity to create works of art for fun and recognition. Students are encouraged to submit works of art in six arts areas: Dance choreography, Film Production, Literature, Musical Composition, Photography and Visual Arts.

The PTA Reflections Recognition Ceremony will be held at Shady Grove on Thursday, November 17th.  Each student will be recognized for their participation in the program.
